Meet Tomás Cusicanqui - Founder of EYM
Tomás Cusicanqui or just simply Tom is the founder and driving force behind Eat Your Microgreens (EYM). Originally from the U.S. with Peruvian roots, Tom moved to the Netherlands to pursue his MSc in Food Quality Management at Wageningen University & Research, specializing in Logistics and Supply Chain Management. With a passion for agriculture and sustainability, he began by volunteering on organic farms and quickly expanded his career across the food and flower sectors in Europe and the United States.
Tom’s hands-on experience spans supply chain operations, quality assurance, product development, and data-driven decision-making. Whether working with multinationals or bootstrapping a circular food startup, he brings a practical yet forward-thinking approach to every project. His work with EYM blends micro-farming, technology, and sustainability, aiming to empower urban growers and rethink how we grow food at home.
